RankPanels ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

We collect the following categories of data: • Account data: name, email address, username, profile photo, and role (buyer / panel owner) — collected at registration. • User content: reviews, ratings, community posts, replies, and upvotes you submit. • Social auth data: when you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from that provider. We do not receive your social media password. • Usage data: pages visited, search queries, time on page, device type, browser, and IP address — collected via server logs and analytics. • Cookies: session identifiers, preference cookies, and optional analytics cookies (see Section 7).

We use your personal data to: (a) create and manage your account; (b) display your public profile, reviews, and community contributions; (c) personalise your experience and recommendations; (d) send transactional emails (account verification, password reset); (e) send optional newsletters or product updates (opt-in only); (f) detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity; (g) improve the Platform through aggregated analytics; (h) comply with legal obligations.

For users in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing your data is: (a) Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you've signed up for; (b) Legitimate Interests — fraud prevention, platform security, and analytics; (c) Consent — marketing emails and optional analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: • Service providers: hosting (Vercel), email (third-party SMTP), analytics (privacy-first tools) — all under data processing agreements. • Panel owners: if you post a public review, your username and review content are visible to the panel owner and all users. • Law enforcement: only when required by law or to protect rights and safety. • Business transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the new entity.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal identifiers within 30 days, though anonymised aggregated data may be retained indefinitely. Community posts and reviews may be retained in anonymised form for platform integrity.

We use strictly necessary cookies (session management), preference cookies (theme, language), and optional analytics cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie banner. Rejecting optional cookies will not affect core Platform functionality.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@rankpanels.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable any available two-factor authentication.

The Platform is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately at privacy@rankpanels.com and we will delete it promptly.

The Platform may contain links to external websites or SMM panels. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
